The 1980s saw the demise of the beret and the beginning of the baseball cap being used by film directors. The famous producers such as Michael Moore, Spike Lee and Steven Spielberg began sporting baseball caps when supervising movies. Of course, several of them wore them off the set as well.
Black baseball caps have become the pick of many for a variety of reasons. Black is a hue that will go with just about anything. They do not show fingerprints like a lighter colored cap. The availability is a little more so than other colors of baseball caps. When it comes to uniforms, the black baseball cap has a much neater and impressive look than it’s lighter counterparts.
